Hands-on, hands in abdominal and pelvic care for women
Womb Continuum Care is hands-on, integrative bodywork that supports the organs to return to healthy midline alignment. It improves blood and lymph flow, reduces inflammation and adhesions, and supports the natural function of the uterus, ovaries, bladder, and digestive organs.
I move at the pace of your tissues, working in layers—from the superficial fascia to the deeper organs. This work combines Rolfing fascial techniques, scar tissue remediation, traditional Mexican midwifery abdominal work (Sobadas), and vulva and vaginal bodywork.
Vulva and vaginal work is not part of initial sessions and is offered only after a foundation has been established. It is always optional and guided by each woman’s intentions, goals, and readiness.

Frequently asked questions
-
Unfortunately, no. This work is designed to restore mobility and reposition the abdominal and pelvic organs, which may increase the risk of IUD displacement or perforation.
-
This is very individual, and is informed by what you are experiencing and how long it has been present. The magic of this work is that it unfolds in layers, slowly working to the depth of inflammation/adhesion/congestion held in the body.
As few as 3 sessions can be very beneficial, and I usually recommend 6-10 sessions to establish deeper, more sustained change.
-
The work can feel intense in moments, either bringing up strong physical or emotional sensation. I think of this as pain or discomfort that has already been living in the body, and needs to be felt in order to be released. We never work beyond pain that cannot be breathed through with ease.
-
You are welcome to be completely nude as I work with a sheet covering. If that is not comfortable for you, you are welcome to wear undies and/or a bralette that is non-restrictive.
-
On the day of your session, please arrive with clean skin, free of oils, perfumes, and moisturizers. The first layer of the work will not be effective if you have moisturizer on, especially on the chest, belly, and pelvis/hips.
I sometimes work with the face and neck, and for this reason ask you to not wear heavy makeup or excessive moisturizer on your face as well.
Because this work requires your full presence, it is required that you are not under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, psychedelics, or stimulants.
-
Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time for parking and settling in, so we can begin on time and use the full session.

I offer vulva and vaginal work as part of Womb Continuum. The tissues of the vulva and vagina can also develop adhesions which restrict blood flow and contribute to dysfunction including pelvic and vaginal numbness and pain. External and internal genital work can also be a gentle way to work through layers of shame and trauma, restoring one’s natural sexual essence and innocence. Internal/external genital work is only offered after several foundational sessions together. You are welcome to ask questions about this at any time.
